- Dow remains near highs, trades quietly throughout session. The index held ground above 12,550 and closed the day with another modest gain of 5 points.
- The NASDAQ and S&P closed the day near the highs of the session, as further sideways-to-up movement continues to be seen. Look for more strength ahead, especially if support remains untouched.
Summary
The Dow ended the day with a mild gain today, as the index continues to hold at highs above near-term resistance. Look for more range movement at highs until another clear move occurs. Further overall strength should resume so long as support continues to hold.
